It wouldn’t be a trip to Scotland without staying in a castle, and I was lucky enough to stay in two during our holiday. I stumbled upon Castle Levan in Inverkip during a Google search one night and found they only had one night available, so I booked it immediately. I’m glad I did because it was delightfully charming, and was the perfect way to celebrate being newly engaged. They even had a hidden waterfall that I’m certain was home to many a fae.
